Cut and run. The difference between one month and 6 months experience on a resume is negligible. It's certainly not worth accepting a lower quality of life for. If you're only one month in, you could leave the whole experience off of ypur resume and nobody would ever even know.

I wrote about a 900 word report in 30 minutes, so I'm guessing 100 words would be no sweat. I don't think there is a definite time limit to writing because people work at different paces. I don't think it would take that long at all. It just depends on what you have to write about and how much you know on that subject.
