I'm starting college this fall and retail is always good a lot of young people work there and easy to change shifts so is fast food or waitress you can also advertise that you clean houses or wash cars

inform your supervisor of your situation and your need for a computer. They will say one of two things, Yes you can have it back , or No you can't. At which point I would tell them that writing makes you the more money and if you have to choose then that will be the job you go with. Your supervisor can either give in and let you have the computer back, or not and lose an employee.
