If it's too hard for you then the job probably will be too.

I wouldn't pay to have someone write my KSA's. It is pretty simple and the qualifiers’ are not looking for presentation of the KSA's, they are looking for key points and abilities that you have. I would recommend writing as much detail in your KSA’s as possible. You need to assume that the person reading them has NO knowledge of what a [nurse, carpenter, typist] does. Don’t assume that the person reading it knows that a nurse administers meds, or a secretary knows how to file. Include it! In most government facilities, the position qualifiers are not the ones that are interviewing. They will rank the applicants based on key points listed in their KSA’s, giving points as the required job skills are proven in the KSA’s. Points are added up, and candidates are ranked in order by total points. At that point, they will only refer a certain number of applicants to continue the process (ie top 5 on list, or more or less depending on position).

As far as the legality of having them written for you, I will have to pass on that question. I’m not quite sure.

The Government already do this. It's called the public service. You'll often find people working in white collar public service positions because they can't get a job in the private sector.

My first suggestion is forget about the government. They don't pay better than private business, they often pay less, but there is more security working for them. 99% of the jobs these days involve computers so I'm sure that part would be included no matter where you worked. My sister-in -law works for the Dept of Defence as a communications specialist. she looks after news releases, information phamplets, and things like that. The government also has it's own monthly newsletters, reports and training booklets that it produces. check out
