freelance writing jobs?We Answered:
I would start with higher-paying content sites like BrightHub or wiseGEEK. Both offer fairly steady work and experience which you can add to a portfolio.Starting a professional blog for yourself is a great idea, too. Something to showcase your work, talents, and let potential clients know how to contact/hire you.
Freelance sites like Elance and Guru are also fantastic places to get your feet wet working for many different clients and even testing several different types of "gigs".
There are also sites such as constant-content.com which allow you to post your work for sale. You can post stuff you've written for fun, or stuff you didn't get paid for, and make quite a nice and steady income for yourself.

Best or easiest way to get paid to do freelance writing? We Answered:
I write on health and wellness topics. I joined an online discussion group of health promotion professionals. Whenever a topic comes up that I have some experience or knowledge, I contribute in great detail. I try to not only be informative and helpful, but also show a little humor and make the information interesting. Then I sign the message with my full name, address, and phone number. I also include a title, "Freelance Health/Wellness Writer and Consultant." I would say that 90% of my business has been generated from this approach. It didn't happen overnight, mind you. It took months of consistent contributions. But eventually, I became a recognized entity and started getting inquiries. It has been my experience that many vendors are members of such groups looking for clients and resources.
I'm not saying this is the best way to break into freelancing, but it definitely worked for me. If you can find chat/discussion groups in your area(s) of interest, give it a try.

Are academia-research.com / freelancewritingcentre.com / chillibreeze.com LEGITIMATE?We Answered:
HiI have not worked with academia-research or freelancewritingcentre. But I once worked with www.chillibreeze.com
It is easy to join Chillibreeze.com. All they ask for is an original sample written for them. Then once you are rated, they send you project offers. I applied to three or four offers before I landed one. They paid pretty OK and were prompt too.
Btw, they are an India-based company, so obviously their rates are Indian too.
Hope this helps.
