Is this at least a C Paper?

We Answered:

seems a lot better than C material though you might want to make it a bit longer as you have the quality down pat but now you just need to work on the quantity a bit more.

I want to one day work writing funny commercials, one day even a movie, how do I get there? I'm still 20!?

I have always felt the same way you do. I switched back in forth during college but finally landed in marketing. The reason i ended up chosing marketing was because in a few of my classes we were put in groups and challenged to compete against other groups to come up with the best ad campaigns. We were given a few months to work on ads and i had a great time doing it. Since then i started taking all marketing classes and they were all pretty much geared towared the same thing. You learn alot about how to target certain markets (age, location, race, gender etc...) different ways to go about appealing to them (funny, serious, testimonial etc...) I've loved learning about and found i was really good at it. However now im in my last semester and i've began to put out alot of resumes. My goal was to work for some advertising company working on different companies ads and market plans. The problem is i haven't been able to find any sort of job like that. I'm beginning to think it was a pipe dream... however i'm assured by teachers and others that those sort of jobs are out there. I'll warn you most of jobs available to marketers are in sales... however most of the schooling was geared towards what you were talking about (except for the movie part) Give it a shot... my best advice would be to look for that ideal job early on... get some internships and you'll probably find yourself in you dream job soon enough.
