how long you go to college for anything just depends on you. how much hours do you plan on taking and do you plan on going to summer school and when are certain classes being taught. all these things take into effect how long you are in college. If you go by the book then it could take you 4 years. my friend double majored in psychology and sociology in just 3 years. I'm probably going to be here for 7 years because I do not go to summer school and I don't take lots of hours. oh yeah and if you fail a class then you have to take it again. so it's hard to say how long but if you want a normal range it's 4 years.

As far as your college degree, you could get a double major in English and Screen/Playwriting or Business and Screen/Playwriting. This will give you a broader spectrum and will also give you the experience/background for a wide variety of jobs.
