What would be some cons for moving to Chicago,Illinois during X-Mas break? We Answered:
Chicago in the winter has miserable weather. It is cold and windy every single day. It snows a lot and you won't get school off because they're used to it. Chicago is a fantastic city, but the winter weather is terrible. That is reason enough for me. I just hate the cold especially with the strong blusters of the Windy City.

What do you think As immigration enforcement takes hold, jobs begin to open up to less-skilled Americans ?We Answered:
Thanks. I'd read a number of those articles when they came out, but not all together. To err on the side of full disclosure, Krikorian is having a debate in the LA Times. The next article you see will be whats-is-name with HIS side of the issue. I've never found whats-is-name persuasive, but I always read him, to be fair.

What do I answer for "salary requirements"?We Answered:
Don't put your salary requirements on your resume, but rather include it within your cover letter if asked to provide. Always provide a range, i.e $50,000 to $60,000. Assess what you're worth realistically. What is your schooling and experience? Then do some research in the areas for which you are applying. There are salary survey sites for cities that you can refer to. In fact, you could reference salary.com.Kelly Said:
Artistic, into drawing, painting, writing music..so where can I work to best utilize my interests? We Answered:
I suggest just go for it. Find a local business that could use a boost in their advertising. Draw them a new logo and present it to them in a professional manor. You could go as far as if they have a web site, you could make them a catchy song, beat or slogan to go along with their new logo. You may be able to paint it yourself or have it printed where ever they like. If you did one or two of these for a very cheap price, then put them in a portfolio with comments from your clients, this could get you referrals and on your way to beating the college guys to the punch.
