However you almost certainly will find any job you take takes time you don't have, and if you can write the kind of articles they want to publish, fine. You can probably make a life doing it some of the time.

I know some freelance writers that don't work for any given company but instead will do contract blogging for 3-4 companies at once, receiving portion of their overall income from each company.
