I have enrolled in this class to help improve my language skills. I know that verbal communications are important, and I’m afraid that my present skills are below average. I feel they are probably not enough for me to pursue the type of job I desire. I have also enrolled in this class because it is a requirement for my major..

Accounting is my major. I chose this because I like working with figures and I feel that there are many good jobs available in the accounting field. Although, I thought that accountants worked totally with figures, my adviser tells me that accountants also need to be able to explain their work to management, to fellow employees, and to clients. My language skills are not terrific, but I want to improve. When I finish my accounting program, I hope to find employment in the entertainment industry as a Junior Accountant.

I have a part-time job at Pizza Bob’s, where I deliver pizzas to campus dormitories, apartments and homes. I enjoy my job because it helps me financially and allows me to interact with people..

When I’m not studying or working, I like to surf the internet. My favorite places to visit are World wide web sites devoted to unusual hobby's and businesses.
