Ad Writing Jobs

Cindy Said:

How can I land this job (ad sales -- newspaper)

We Answered:

Nailing the interview isn't the question, but can you handle the job if you got it is. If you have the experience and knowledge, a good personality and dress professionally you'll do fine. To prepare for the interview google interviews and/or interview questions. As a writer I'm sure you can articulate well when speaking. But there is no one answer to nail an interview if you do the obvious right. You can have all the experience, credentials, personality, professionalism in the world, but for some reason the interviewer doesn't like you so you don't get the job, you just have to do your best you can. I'm a recruiter, so just do well and you'll do fine. Good luck!

Earl Said:

When writing a cover letter should you reference some of the same terms used in the job ad? Doesn't that seem

We Answered:

Not parroting, but showing awareness of the respective add, showing you understand what they are asking for or what they have to give.

Usually, you do this when you state where exactly you have heard of the specific vacant position (Basically the first paragraph of the cover letter's content).

There are some samples, which you can use generally, and down the page, you can see some cover letters tailored to certain types of jobs. Good luck!

Elizabeth Said:

what online typing jobs are really paying big bucks?

We Answered:

Typing jobs don't exist. ~
But creative writing can be a real business. Just find companies that need some done.
Lots of Japanese and Korean companies could use someone to clean up their instruction manuals which are written by non English speakers and are often barely understandable.

Craig Said:

We Answered:
