Almost every field if you are really into what you are doing requires research to reach your full potential. I work in an athletic field and I have a Library of books on my sport and read everything I can get my hands on. I am an ENTP - and I am in HR, which happens to be perfect for that type. However, I believe more in the communication aspect of what the Meyers Briggs has to offer, than identified career path. Just because you are an "I" doesn't' mean much, you could be a borderline "I" meaning have a lot more "E". Also, you should be able to flex parts of your "type" to make yourself more effective at work.

And I think you are right, an ISFP would probably be an AR - as the S indicates a need for numbers or proof....

Pursue what makes you happy, an use all the personality stuff in a way that makes for effective communication.

you should try for an MBA, (masters in business administration), or you could go and study law. these are both viable routes in which your previous degree doesn't matter.

New writers would not cross a union picket line. Not only would it be dangerous but it could damage their career in the future by possibly getting blackballed from future jobs. There are also several stars that will not cross the picket lines. It's all about supporting the average Joe against the big money corporations who are greedy and take advantage of their workers. As far as you getting a job as a writer, you probably should try to get an internship at a local newspaper or TV station in Maryland. Or you could be a freelance writer and just write articles and then try to sell them to magazines. Speak with your college about job placement.

I have friends who are technical writers, one has a major in english with a minor in computer science. You are going to want other technical experience.
