i when was at school which i have left recently,i had to write an article about Bristol(which is where i live).The task was to persuade Americans to visit Bristol for a holidayvacation.Why not write an article to persuade people to come to your town/city etc.
We (referring to my english class) had to also write an article about an issue/situation which irritates us the most and persuade others to support your idea.

MS Publisher or another publisher sw program would work best. HOWEVER, if neither is available, you can struggle to produce almost the same product (with a little less latitude) by using the MS Word Processor. You can insert photos, create columns, change text font size and color and insert Bold Headlines. It just takes more work to do it.

If using Word, I would suggest you type up the story and save that first.

1. Select all text
2. Click on column tool and choose expected number of columns. Save this as a new document. If you selected 3 columns, but you only need 2, do Edit Undo Columns and re-select.
3. To Insert objects or pictures, put cursor where you want them and select Insert saved picture or simply paste it where you want it.
4. To Increase Font Size for specific header or beginning letter, Select the desired text ONLY and choose Edit Font (insert the larger number font for larger size).
