What is the best way to study English ?? please tell me .?

We Answered:

listen a lot to music in English. Watch a lot of movies, shows. You can turn on captions but also try to understand without them. Read books, magazines. Try to limit yourself in speaking your language, and spend most of the time with friends who speak English. Eventually later English may become so natural to you that you will think of certain things in English and will be easier for you to say in English than your language.

P.S Also watch Family Guy and South Park cartoons. Those ones are really good for picking up language with slangs! Because those shows are American they may have little different humor than British, but you should still be fine. Good luck!

How do you think about my way to study English?

We Answered:

The best way to learn any language, if possible, is to immerse yourself in it...like take a vacation to an english speaking country or study abroad if you are a student. Otherwise, I'd just keep doing what you're doing. Although you may not think so, every time you sit down and work at learning the language you do improve...or at least become more comfortable with it.

Lastly, as for grammatical corrections in your question:

1. "I've taken the English conversation lesson on Skype a hour everyday since two weeks ago" = I've been taking the English conversation lesson on Skype an hour everyday for two weeks.
2. not sure about the 3rd sentence...but sounds kinda weird
3. "I don't feel myself any improvements at all" = I don't feel like I'm making any improvements at all
4. your question should be...What do you think about my way of studying English?

Margie Said:

In English, is the word "jaunty" often used in daily conversation or in the media?

We Answered:

No, it's not a common word as such, it's the sort of word you are more likely to find in a story or used by an old lady, but people on the street don't say it. It's pretty much a "Readers Digest" word these days.

However, there's no harm in remembering it :) it's always good to have a wide vocabulary.
