Most colleges and universities have majors such as English Literature, Journalism or Classics which will invovle a lot of reading and writing. The biggest thing is to make sure that whatever major you choose will coincide with a career path you would like. And English major typically finds work in editing, publishing or sometimes education. Check with the guidance counselor, they can give you more ideas about what education choices will work best for you. Good luck!

If you have already graduated from high school, go to a community college. Most of them have remedial classes. You will probably need to take a test to see what classes you need.

If you did not graduate high school, then you need to either be in school or taking classes to get your GED. You may be able to find someone to tutor you. Some libraries offer classes too.

just seen yesterday a 20yr veteran firefighter in oregan lost his job because he couldnt speak spanish..this needs to stop in America we have been a english speaking nation from the beginning now our own American citizens are losing good paying jobs and having a foreign language shoved down our throats.. how in the world can people defending the illegals say such things as the illegal immigrants are just doing jobs americans wont when the very American citizens living here see everyday thats not the case they are coming here stealing good paying jobs working for cheaper wages thus putting Americans out of work ..this has to stop!
