Learning How To Write English
Eugene Said:
how to fine the ease way for learning to write in English? We Answered:
The easiest way is to learn with others on a course. However, you need to find the course that is best for you - not too difficult and not too easy. To find the best course for you, get advice direct from a careers or learning adviser that knows about the choices of courses in the area where you live. If you go straight to an individual college or learning centre, they may just tell you about what is on offer only at that particular learning centre. If you live in England, look at the website http://www.nextstep.org.uk/
Click on the link for "Find your local nextstep"
Next, click on the area where you live on the map that is displayed.
This brings up a list of addresses and phone numbers of Nextstep information advice and guidance services. Ring the number closest to where you live. They will put you in touch with an adviser who knows about the choice of English courses in your area that are suitable for people who first learnt to speak in another language.
If you live in Wales look at the website https://www.careerswales.com/ Near the top of the page you will see a drop-down menu reading "Careers Companies." Click on this and choose the area where you live. Again this will produce addresses and phone numbers to ring to put you in contact with a local adviser.
If you live in Scotland, either phone 0845 8502 502 or visit the website http://www.careers-scotland.org.uk/Conta… Scroll down to the bottom of the page and you can download a list of centres in Scotland who can tell you where to find a qualified careers/learning adviser who knows about the choices of courses in your area.
If you live in Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Eire or any where else, and this type of answer would be useful to you about a different country that I haven't given details for, please add this information to your question.
Calvin Said:
In university education (undergraduate) what is the difference between ENGLISH linguistics and language? We Answered:
Linguistics is the scientific study of language with lots of sub-fields like Semantics, Pragmatics, Morphology, Syntax, Phonetics and Phonology. It's very technical.English Language is more the study of the history of the language and how it came to be the way it is (through various invasions, and the invention of the dictionary etc). You also study language in use and context (ie language and the law or language and business etc) and you get too look at grammar (though not as in depth as if you study Linguistics).
As to what jobs you can get, well there are plenty. Such as in teaching, law, business, marketing, advertising or journalism etc.
