what you have here is a poem itself, did you write it? I don't see what's so bad about it, you did a great job, but if you want a more poetic flow to it then i guess i could give it a shot.

Dressed in red from top to bottom,
With red heels on her feet,

You get started by learning how to use good English and use it well. A workman needs to be able to use the tools of his trade. Words are the tools of a poet...a poem may well be about emotions, but these emotions are best expressed through words, so your first respondent is in error in his final comments. Trust me...I know of which I speak.

It also helps if you have something to say which is worth the saying.
