How To Learn Write English

Marc Said:

Where to learn the Viking language?

We Answered:

What you want to learn is Old Norse: http://notendur.hi.is/haukurth/norse/ this is a beginners Old Norse language course. The language is very old, and ignored, another one I reccomend you a lot is Gothic.

Eugene Said:

What is the best way for an english speaker to learn how to write/speak a foreign language...?

We Answered:

Hi! Russian is actually not so far from English -except for the pronounciation -Arabic ofr any of the Asian or Indian languages then don't have almost anything in common with English.
Most of the languages have some web pages with sounds also. Like japanese-online.com has some samples.
Even if the language is written the same letters like English you would pronounce everything wrong for example in Finnish or Estonian if you try it on the basis how it looks to you! So -the outside is not the answer, you should really know a little -and -usually - I would say you need a tape/videoclip or some such to hear how the natives talk! Most exotic languages seem to have web pages -like wolof, which is the other language in Senegal. So just type the language you want to learn on google -and you will find a lot!!
Lycka till -have luck as the Swedes say!
