Top 10 Tips on How to Learn Any Foreign Language:

1. Set realistic expectations. When you begin to learn a new language, you will make mistakes and you will not understand everything. It’s perfectly natural. Accept it as part of the learning process. Don’t expect to become fluent in a few weeks - or even months. Fluency takes every student a lot of work and a lot of time. The important thing is to get started – and to learn to communicate basic ideas to native speakers. That you can do in just a few lessons!

2. Flash cards. Carry index cards with you. Whenever you hear a new word or phrase, write it down. Put the meaning in your native language on the back of the card. If you like, you can colour code your cards into categories: foods, irregular verbs, colloquial phrases, greetings, etc.

3. Try to practice the accent of the language that you're learning.

4. Get a native speaker boyfriend or girlfriend. Develop relationships with native speakers. OK, the romance side of things isn’t required, but it helps. The more time you spend speaking the language, about anything and everything, the faster you’ll gain confidence and find yourself speaking naturally.

5. Listen to the language. Tune in to radio, movies, soap operas, news channels, music…. Listening to the language between classes will keep what you’ve learned fresh in your mind.

6. Read the language. Read magazines, books and newspapers. Many bookstores and local libraries have language sections with a variety of books in and about the language.

7. Speak out loud. Transfer your newly learned language skills from your mind to your mouth – right away! Always practice your language out loud. Read your books and magazines out loud. Although you may feel a little silly at first, this is an important first step toward improving your pronunciation and gaining confidence speaking in the new language.

8. Make mistakes. Don’t be afraid to make mistakes. Mistakes are an inevitable part of the learning process. In almost any country you visit, you will find that people appreciate your attempt to speak their language, even if you don’t get everything right. You’ll learn more from your mistakes than from any class or book you’ll ever invest in.

9. Visit online forums. Meet and exchange ideas with other students from all over the world. Ask questions, answer questions, find yourself a native speaker pen pal! A quick Google search will pull a good starting list of websites for students.

10. Maximise your exposure. What is your ultimate language goal? If, like most budding linguists, you want to gain fluency, you’ll want to find all the direct exposure you can to achieve your goal. An immersion course in the language-speaking country is a great way to do this, whether for an extended course or a quick language vacation. Not only will you study with native teachers and live with the locals, when you find yourself speaking this language just to order your coffee or pick up a newspaper, you’ll quickly put all you’ve learned in class to good use – and measure your daily progress in leaps and bounds.

Practice makes perfect, just have normal conversations in English with anyone it is possible with. Also go to an online website such as www.dictionary.com and type in words and click the audio button to see how they are pronounced, that will help you with a lot of pronunciation.

How can I learn my English grammar?

We Answered:

If you have an English grammar book (or can put your hands on one) you could look up the particular rule that applies when your professors indicate an error. You could also use the grammar book to research the things you want to research just for your own information.

Taking an English grammar class would also be very helpful; but you may not have time for that or you may simply not want to do that.

Hope this helps.

How can i improve my English grammar?

We Answered:

Read! Honestly, this is the best way to improve every aspect of your English. It is proven that most people who are well read do better in ALL subject than those who do not read as much. Read anything. Often times when you read for school it isn't something that you are interested in, or if you are, you don't want to do it simply because it is homework (I love to read and I am the same way). Reading helps you to think creatively. It is also easier for most people to recognize proper English when they have seen it and been immersed in it often. Read as much as you can.

Write more often! Just keep writing. Sometimes you'll recognize your mistakes and learn from them on your own - I know for a fact I've learnt many of the rules of writing this way. If you had someone proficient in English to correct your writing, that'd be good too

Use bigger words more often. When you talk, when you write(especially when you write), anywhere. They'll grow on you. You can speak with any friends on the internet or in an English club, that can be help you too

I know it's very long but you must know that "nothing's impossible" Try hard man ^^

Best wishes
