I only skimmed your question, and here are some suggestions:

1. Just know that English tuition will not improve your English, if you do not take the time to engage in literature.

2. Read a lot. Try a book a week, if you're a very busy individual. If you've got lots of time on your hands, try four books a week. Don't see it as a grueling challenge, though. Enjoy every bit of it.

3. Go to merriam-webster.com more often. They have a Word of the Day feature. Besides, I learnt many new words relevant to my search criteria, thanks to the synonyms that are almost always provided. Usually an example is provided to demonstrate the usage of the word in a phrase. If not, get an Oxford pocket dictionary and carry it with you at all times. Whenever you catch an unfamiliar word in a movie, book, anything at all, look it up.

4. Use bigger words more often. When you talk, when you write(especially when you write), anywhere. They'll grow on you.

5. Write more often! Just keep writing. Sometimes you'll recognize your mistakes and learn from them on your own - I know for a fact I've learnt many of the rules of writing this way. If you had someone proficient in English to correct your writing, that'd be good too.

Start with reading as many (easy) children's books as you can. Listen to books on tape in order to develop a better understanding of the english language. Libraries have audio books (tapes/cds) & kids' books, plus magazines. READ, READ, READ, then you will be able to write much easier.

I am happy that you have this desire to improve your english language....well, as for me, i suggest that you read a lot of good books and magazines, you practice speaking and writing it (actually practicing it is the best way but be sure that you are doing it right), and having someone to correct your grammar.

For now, let me apply to you the third option - to correct your grammar, and i hope you will take it constructively. Example, "It is one of my wish....", you should write "It is one of my wishes..."
