I am very sorry you think people is so different, and is not. What you will find quite different is the way you relate to the world. I am from Cuzco, the place turists go to throw trash and try taking Old Peak{ s (Macchu Picchu) soul.

We go there to pray and hope we will be better people and pay respects to Mother Earth. This is done by US indians and Old Born people in Asia, Africa, Europe and here in south america.

We do not throw 30% of the food , not even in when food is abundant.Some of us thank Nature when we take a fruit from a tree or sacrifice an animal to eat. Some of us believe in Gods, and practice what said in monday church. This are some of the big differences.

For example, you asked about woman and babies. Just read US history and you will find something amazing: indians dont make babies in manufacturing plants, and ladies dont get pregnat a dozen times. Even, as you will see in all the amazons basin, tribes girls are sometimes having relations with more than one member of the tribe. The important thing in your minds is wow! sex... the one that matters to us is that those females are the responsability of all the tribe, and so they are loved.

The different view you have is a newer version of how life can be lived. We call you the "Younger Brothers and Sisters" because you know little about trasn-generation permanence of soul and man made things... for example, you dont mind the trashied food, no matter how many poor guys live in the projects.

Frecuently parents work 2 shifts to raise children, but in reality, parents are absent: away from home working or in front of the tube watching life go by. When this happens often, you get an orphan society.... just look at your work place, at a reunion site as a church or concert... each one is on its own .. what a sad lonely planet. Check on your relatives, your son... you know how do they feel, what they need or want? Are you happy with your life?

By the way.. I am one of 23 scientists working in Canada in a pharmaceutical research projct about genoma... the lady besides me is an indian, we got 2 people from the red sea, 2 koreans, 4 germans, one french, 3 italians, 2 colombians, one puerto rican and there is also one guy from Taipei.
