Creative Writing for English GCSE?We Answered:
I did this :)Mine was about a man who befriends another guy and his wife so that he can kill the guy- because he killed th man's son. That sounds confusing, but i got an A*
Murder stories are great as they can be short but full of suspense at the same time.
You can prolong the beginning slightly, get to the murder scenes, then leave on a cliffhanger to shorten it.
Hope i helped :)

English GCSE descriptive writing opinions and improvements please? We Answered:
use more semicolons but find out why there used otherwise you can misplace them.use three descriptive word to describe something(adjectives i think - poor memory); 'green bottle eyes' & 'long white hair' could be changed to 'tired bottle colourd eyes' & 'long, flowing albino hair'
"ungratefully greeted" i think should be switched around (i think theres a rule about having verbs and adjectives in a certain order but i'd research that)
and in 'simarly coloured chalk face the moonlight giving it a silvery glow,' lose the word 'coloured' and again use a semi colon to make it 'her similar (but smooth/yet delicate) chalk like face; moonlight giving a silvery glow.'
generally i think you uses word where you shouldn't and don't when you should, but it's nothing serious and this is surprisingly good; i can imagine what is happening and the atmostphere is definatly a dark cold night. I don't think you have much to worry about..
sorry i'm short on advice - assuming its any good. I tend to play around with words too much..
