Jennifer Said:
How accurate do you have to be when writing in japanese (hiragana...)?We Answered:
It does not have to be perfect, but it must be legible. People must also be able to tell the difference between your hiragana and katakana as some symbols are very alike take 'ka' for instance. Katakana is more spiky but remember that hiragana is more rounded. As long as you know the stroke order and the basic way these symbols are written you should be fine when writing them. It is like English, a little deviation doesn't matter- I would say that 90% accuracy would be ideal. For kanji, as it is a picture language, it should be very, very accurate which is hard because a lot of the symbols are so hard to do.
