Nora Said:

My English writing homework?

We Answered:

Absolutely wonderful.

Just a couple of minor errors
Compared with my after school learning, our classroom is a bit boring.
Shrek and Donkey, for example are my favorites. (plural)

give guidelines (plural)

Finally I suggest that that the Internet can be used in our English class to enhance learning and increase fun. (Okay - here I added a little.)

Diane Said:

How would you fix / reword this writing in English?

We Answered:

"I am a 35 year-old Korean lady, and have taught myself to speak English. I used to work for a school as an office manager in Korea, and now have a job as a public administration worker in Canada. I quit my job because my English is not strong enough to continue with it. However, I feel my language skills are getting better. Next year, 2008, I hope to apply for a job in the Canadian education system, either in office administration or as an administrative assistant since education has always been a special interest of mine. In the meantime, I have been attending several adult education centers to improve my second language skills and enhance my English computer skills. Making my goal come true is my biggest dream."

I spelled "centers" as they do in the US, so you can spell it either way. Also, I would not end it with "Cheers"

Brittany Said:

Italian and Spanish speakers! Please describe what an English person speaking Italian or Spanish sounds like.?

We Answered:

Well, I can only speak for Spanish, just because I don´t speak any Italian.
English speaking people have a really characteristic accent when they speak Spanish, they tend to speak with a different rythm and I would even say, different tone (I think ,girls mainly, have a much more high pitched voice)

Some of those characteristic sounds are:

R: in Spanish, we roll our "Rs" , it doesn´t matter if it´s british or american accent, they have a very english sounding "r", it´s really hard for them to roll their "Rs"

S: At least here in Spain, we have a more strong pronounced "S", English speaker pronounce their "s" in a softer way.

O: this is often used to joke about english speakers (not in a bad way though) when you want to immitate english language sound, "o" cannot be left behind! XD... our "Os" are always pronounced like :"oh" , english usually pronounce their "Os" like o in "no" (noh uh)
so we usually heard English speakers saying something like: "PERROU" (pehrro-uh) instead of "perro" (perroh)

This is not really about pronunciation, but it seems like English have a lot of words ending in "ation" (at least to us, it´s pretty english sounding), so when we immitate English language we just add -ation to any word to make it sound English. xD

It is really expresive as well, words like "OH MY GOD" or "ohh wow!" "ohh yeah" are used as well to immitate, really really typical.

Sam Said:

A question to Korean English language learners.?

We Answered:

Well I don't have any problems, even the one that you mentioned but I would suggest that you keep your eye out because different learners experience differently.
