if you want to improve your english writing skills, what you can do is to read english daily newspapers eg. The Tmes of India, particularly the editorial page. try to read as much good books and novels in your free time. most of all go to the market and get some essay books and start reading the essays, paragraphs, stories. when you've tried the best at your level to read these things you can go for a regular writing practice on any topic. you may also take help from your parents, freinds, teachers, etc to give you some topics on ehich you can write. i also suggest you a book, " Writing essays and Reports" by Stephen Mclaren published by Scholastic. you may even buy it on the net. iam sure then you'll definitely see a drasic improvement in your writing skills. all the best!!!!!

Lately I have been depressed because things are not working out as I expected. I messed up every exam; English, Economics and History. I don't know what happened to me, a few days ago I had such great prospects and now I feel I have been smacked in the face. It was so ridiculous when my teacher gave my test back to me, it was like a bolt from the blue. While my mind processed the sad truth I was totally isolated, stuck in an irrational place.
Conversely, this result has given me a shock at the beginning of term which is much better than if it had occurred at any other time. So I still have plenty of time to improve my learning skills and my marks in future. This note is the first stage, I am writing in to improve my English.

Don't be disheartened, that was very good. It was completely understandable and most of the changes I have made are not correcting faults but helping it to flow better.
