If you ask you're teacher to proofread your paper, I'm sure he/she would say yes.
Make sure you don't ask in the middle of class, that's disruptive. Ask him/her after
school one day.

You sound like you have yourself lined up in the right direction; good for you. One thing you might think about though is that university subjects can be very different from their high school equivalents. You should be prepared to keep your options open. One of the best ways of doing that is, if at all possible, keep taking math at high school. This will keep open a whole world of the natural and social sciences.

there are several, a good resource for free is to go to the reference section of a library and pull the Writers Digest its a thick, usually paper back and has publishers, agents and loads of contests listed...you cant checkit out so take a paper and pen with you!
