Sara Said:

Help on my essay for my english writing class!?

We Answered:

I can tell you are frustrated.

Similarity: Both the good and bad student must attend school.
Both the good and bad student are expected by the teacher to follow class rules.
Both the good and bad student is discovering themselves as a person.

That's what I can think of. Try to not worry about it and tell your teacher you had difficulty. Ask them for help.

I need a piece of writing that has a lot descriptive writing for English class?

We Answered:

The first sentence in the opening paragraph of the short story "The Lottery" by Shirley Jackson is quite descriptive.

I suggest you read it. A link to the story is below. It's really quite fascinating, but interesting in a disturbing sort of way. I read it in 8th grade, and I've never forgotten it.

The morning of June 27th was clear and sunny, with the fresh warmth of a full-summer day; the flowers were blossoming profusely and the grass was richly green. The people of the village began to gather in the square, between the post office and the bank, around ten o'clock; in some towns there were so many people that the lottery took two days and had to be started on June 2th. but in this village, where there were only about three hundred people, the whole lottery took less than two hours, so it could begin at ten o'clock in the morning and still be through in time to allow the villagers to get home for noon dinner.
