Standard Grade English Writing Paper ?

A good thought out guess. No one really knows as yet but my advice would be to learn style etc from your successful paper and also fats for other issues. I wish you well as you are adopting a sensible approach.

Ellen Said:

I need help with writing a paper for English 101?

We Answered:

Hi Allie!

This is what I would do:
1.) First read the attached summary from wikipedia.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pride_%26_P…

2.) I would pick out a primary theme, say something you found interesting about the development of Elizabeth Bennett's character. Your paper should focus on this.

3.) What you want to do is build up intrigue about this theme, so that a person reading your paper will want to watch the movie. Since you are focusing on this theme only, you will not reveal the main plot.

4.) The purpose of the introduction is to introduce your theme of interest, so that the reader will want to read your whole paper. The introduction should lead directly into the main content of your paper.

5.) You should of course, end with a brief summary which entices the reader to watch the movie to see how this theme develops.

Good luck!

Good thoughts.

I can also think of a certain internment camp that has recently highlighted the issues of government seizing citizens without trial and submitting them to torture... ring any bells?

There might be some mileage to be had from comparing the figure of Emmanuel Goldstein (I think that was his name- I'm talking about the passage near the start that deals with the Two Minutes' Hate) to Bin Laden.

More mundanely, how many surveillance cameras do you see every day? It might not be Big Brother, but someone is watching you.
