CAN YOU HELP ME TO GET A* IN ENGLISH ORIGINAL WRITING.?We Answered:
I completed this last year and achieved A* both in this element and in the course over all.The limit the exam board sets is 1000 words but you do not have to use all of these by any means. Mine was 150 words and usually its better to write less.
If your doing a story, don't choose something too complicated but make complicated characters and feelings as your marked firstly on interest, so consider what your teacher would find interesting. Secondly, grammar has to be perfect and use ; - : and all other methods of punctuation (an absolute must)
The hardest bit is to produce something which can show that you can produce convoluted characters in a fluid coherent way and use all figurative devices. E.g personification, metaphors, similes, alliteration, oxymoron, assonance, sibilance, onomatopoeias.
Try and be original also, mine was different then everybody else and don't choose something predictable. Mine wasn't even a story, it was a monologue.
Hope any of this helps and well done for being so motivated

GCSE English Original Writing Coursework? We Answered:
Hey, I am just finishing my GCSEs and I adored this task; so much so I wrote 28 sides of A4 and loved every second.Obviously, to get the A and A* grade, one must think deeply and outside of the box - hence, why it is original writing. As opposed to thinking of a visual or physical problem, think of something more internal - perhaps something personal you can identify with, as you will write more vividly. For a more dramatic tone, 'resolved' does not exactly have to render a positive outcome - yet do not go too far and kill yourself, for it must be tasteful and naturalistic.
Example (not very good - it's improvised):
1. You are struggling to deal with growing older and becoming a teenager; you feel as if you are leaving your childhood behind - include some anecdotes -; forgetting your dreams and so on.
2. You are thinking of all the good of becoming older. Perhaps you could remember your dreams and live them now you are growing older. You think of falling in love and the like...
3. You have notice how you have been feeling more emotionally numb and you do not feel the same; you have lost your innocence. You are scared of entering the adult world of convention and settling into a typical life - which is paradox to your childhood dreams.
4. You are too afraid to run away, so you build an igloo in the snow outside for the sense of childhood-security; but, like the snow, it will soon melt away which you accept, like the loss of your childhood.
Best of luck :)

english original writing coursework help?We Answered:
A lawyer can describe an orange with a thousand words. So just try and remember what you can on any day when you were young., but writing about something interesting like, listening to your grandparents telling you a interesting story or going out with your friends to swim in a river nearby or going to the market with your mother. Just use simple words and describe everything you saw and can remember, use a dictionary if you don't know how to spell or use a word.Even if you write a story in just a 100 words, I still think you can score if its interesting.
