I’m asked to compare and contrast your and George Orwell’s book. --> wrong grammar there. Change to: I have been asked to compare your book and Mr. Orwell's book.

Note: I don't think you need to put compare and contrast in there. Just compare would be sufficient. Also, it pays to be polite when sending letters to a complete stranger, hence Mr. Orwell.

The benefit to reading this could show teenagers that thinking for yourself and discovering your own way of life leads you to happiness. It also shows that the people who will only appreciate you if you do what they do, and what they tell you to are ignorant and won't help you get where you want to be. If you think for yourself, good people will be attracted to you.
