We Answered:

Spelling 'appalling' with one 'p' is one.

Saying 'could of', 'would of' and 'should of' instead of 'could have', 'would have' and 'should have' is my pet hate.

We Answered:

It's most definitely 'less'.

'Little' makes no grammatical sense at all.

Willie Said:

Could you help me to find a mistake in below sentence? This is an English grammar test?

We Answered:

Because there is only one mistake, it must lie in
...... when standardization WILL conquer their country.

The "will" that I capitalized is not appropriate, because "when... their country" is part of the conditional sentence "their history ... their country." Because of this, it is expected to follow this formula:

When ... {verb in Present Simple/Present Progressive} ... , ... {V in Future Simple} ... .

In this case, the "when" clause is inverted and placed behind. According to the formula, the verb following "when" - "conquer" - should be in either present simple or present progressive; deleting "will" will make it present, and the sentence will be grammatical. The result is rather simple:

Rightly or wrongly, they truly believe that standardization through globalization will destroy their lifestyle and culture: in other words, their history and heritage will end when standardization conquers their country.

Don't forget the -s for third-person singular agreement!

What is the best way to get started with attending an 10 grade level English Grammar test in one month?

We Answered:

A, I thing the best way forward for you would be to start reading english books. Get some grade 10 equivalent books & read them. Every time you come across a word you don't understand then check an english dictionary, if you are having difficulty comprehending that particular word in the sentence it is in, same thing write it down but have a look in 'Roget's' Thesaurus. This book gives you the synonyms (same meaning of the word you are trying to interpret) or antonyms (gives the opposite meaning).

This enables you to fully comprehend what you are reading. Many words in english can have more than 1 meaning & it can be very confusing when english is yr 2nd language.

Studying for any exam is easier if you write down what you are reading then check the meanings so you fully comprehend each sentence. The only way you are going to improve is to practise, practise, practise. Good luck my friend
