I changed multidisciplinary to multiple disciplines. I don't know if multidisciplinary is a term of your trade, and if it is, just let me know and i'll re-correct. If it isn't a term used in your particular field for a certain purpose, then I think this is all correct.

Try to read as much as you can, especially the classics. At the same time, listen to BBC radio. In addition, go into the BBC Learning English site which is very informative. It also has audio, so you can listen to how the words should be pronounced.

I use Microsoft Office Proofing Tools kit. It is not offline program though.

Other good choice is AfterDeadline spell/grammar checking tools. I use it as extension to Firefox browser but look it up. It may have other tools available. AfterDeadline is buggy and may sometimes give you false positive on simple words, but you can not beat free and many grammar options in one package.

PS. I do not use AfterDeadline grammar corrections while answering question here(only spellcheck). So please do not judge it on my grammar.

The only way I can think of doing it properly is to do it manually. I know of no grammar correcting website.

Grammar is much more complicated than mere spelling. There are so many different ways of saying things that a "grammar website" wouldn't pick up the subtleties.

So, if you are a good friend, start now and maybe you can get it done by Thursday.

no offense intended dude, but unless you were my college roommate and i owed you for that time you kept me from running drunk and naked through the women's finals basketball game or for bailing me out of jail, this is a lot of work. there are many online resources for self-help, and many services that will help you for dirt cheap. search for "resume writers" on your favorite search engine or craigslist for such persons.
