Writing Professional Resume

Armando Said:

I am a teen writing a resume--how do I do this with no prior professional work experience?

We Answered:

I have the same thing, but im 13, and I live in nebraska! So I can only work at shopko for minimum wage! But you basically write what you are good at, some backround information, your experiance (working skills)
and any additional facts you think that they might want to know about you! A Resume is basically a persuasive letter! You have to put down what you want, but you have to make it worth there while to make it worth your while! SO get writing!!1!

Is it worth getting a professional resume written?

We Answered:

I personally don't think it is worth it to get a professional resume. There are plenty of resources on the internet for you to make a professional resume:

Some of my favorites are:

(Resume writers couldn't give you a much more professional look than this!)

(Useful ideas on what and how to write)

I would use your friends, colleagues and family for evaluating your resume. They are a valuable and often unused resource for checking the strength of your resume. The professional resume writers might have seen more resumes but they are just as susceptible to biases as your friends, colleagues and family. Also it is very important to remember that resume's should typically be tailored for the job you are applying for. Emphasize different qualities for different jobs!

Hope this helps.

how do u write a professional resume?

If you have Microsoft Word, simply click "File" in the top left, then "New." If you explore the tabs a little, you'll find a few different resume templates. Decide which one you like best, and fill in the blanks. You can change the way it looks if you want to, but that is a great place to start.

You'll usually start with your most recent job and work your way back. Give a brief description (note the word brief) of your duties and responsibilities. Make sure you include the dates of your employment. Even if you've never had a "real job" before, chances are you can find something to list - babysitting, helping in a relative's office, working at a fruit stand.... Later, you can list any relevant education that you have, and talk about your specific skills.

Just remember to keep it simple and fairly short. Even if your grammar is excellent - have someone proofread it when you're finished. Good luck!

Where can I get a great professional resume written for a reasonable price?

We Answered:

I have the best idea ever. Don't bother buying software or running to an overpriced business. Go on ebay and put, in the search bar " professional resume". Go under these categories.

# Buy >
# Specialty Services >

You will find a few people who actually do it and deliver it to you online. What is also great about this is that you can check their feedback. Stay with the people that have 98% or higher, as that shows they deliver satisfaction to their customers. You can also securely complete this transaction with eBay and PayPal backing you. If you do not have a PayPal account, it's actually very easy to create one. Go to paypal.com to have the website walk you through the steps.

I found this person on eBay. They will write you a professional resume and send you the draft within 72 hours for ONLY $10!

They also have 100% feedback. It looks like a good deal to me. Good Luck!
