You should think of reasons why a Marketing company would want to hire you. Companies will want to see work experience, so you should have one or two listed by the time you graduate.

Before I went to college I worked at a golf course. That was mywork experience. if the job is needed to put on your resume, then be actively seeking something.

If you go to collge in the United states, they have work study programs that students take tomake money while in college. My frat served as waiters at a serority house. Go out and find someting you are passionate about. Even if you aren't working, put that on your resume. Join a student or professional group related o your major. Pay dues if you have to. It will give you contacts going forward.

Think .... what are other professionals doing? See what your friends have in their resume and work towards getting that eye - catching experience in yours.
