Resume Writing Formats

Seth Said:

I need help writing the perfect Resume. What is the Format?

We Answered:

When your formatting a resume, you basically have two choices: either you can organize your info chronologically (in reverse - start with your most recent job and work backwards) or group your skills in a functional format.

Spend some time making a list of all the attributes that matter most for your application - what are they looking for? Then highlight the skills and achievements that you genuinely have which match those requirements.

Remember that your resume has to catch the reader's attention quickly, so include a summary underneath your contact details at the top to showcase your strengths.

You can read lots more on this and see examples at the site below:

what is word format in writing a resume?

We Answered:

I used this resume writing service in my area, this is there website: http://www.resumeworld1.com you should try them, it only cost me $35.00 and I got a great job from this new resume, I never thought about the format that they use but the turn around time was less then 24 hrs. I would have to say it was the best service I have ever used and it was worth every dime. Also they let me pay through Pay Pal.

Cecil Said:

Can somebody give me the complete proper format of writing a Resume!?

We Answered:

I usually start of with a personal profile - for example saying how you are a hard working individual, a good team player all that kind of stuff.

Then put some education details - qualifications, projected grades and such. If you have had employment experience then list this after.

Put in something about your interests or hobbies whatever they may be, and finish by giving two references (their names, address and phone number) who your prospective employer will be able to contact for a personal reference. I would suggest a teacher at school or the head of school, or a close family friend you have known for some time,

Discuss It!
