How to escape from resume filter when applying for job?We Answered:
As a professional recruiter, I have a couple of questions that need to be clarified.1 Are you applying for the exact same position as before?
2 Are you applying for a different position than the first one?
3 What was the reason they gave you for turning you down the first time?
If you are applying for the same job again, I would say you have a problem, but if its a different position with the same company; most companies will accept the resume and consider it just like they would for anyone who has never applied there before. Most companies and large corporations will consider you if you go to the HR Manager and explain that you are applying for a different position this time.
If the reason they did not accept you the first time was because of something like a criminal background, or mental problems or something, then they will turn you down again. You need to find out why they turned you down the first time. Then go talk to the HR Manager or Director and explain your situation. But first find out why they turned you down originally.

How do I make this sound Professioinal in my Resume??? Thanks!?We Answered:
What you do is to work with different words:"I spend most of the day researching products online for sale and selling them"
What qualities does this show?
- To me, it sounds like you take INITIATIVE; you decided to go out there and see what you can do to make some moolah, and that takes initiative, which is a great leadership attribute. Work around that word.
"Opened up Ebay and Amazon store and did well regarding profit wise"
- this would be considered ENTREPRENUAL; you are working through to earn profits...this can also deal with your suave on financial marketing and stuff....
So all i can suggest to you, is get strong words that characterize your ability to make you sound more competent and professional enough for the big leagues.
You sound like your very interested in Business Administration, I say go for it :)
Good luck

What is the correct way to format your resume if you'd like to include an "online resume" website as well?We Answered:
The invention of websites such as "visualcv.com" and "linkedin.com" has increased the number of job seekers with access to this great feature--the online resume. It can absolutely be helpful and should not be overlooked. The best place to put this feature is to include it in the heading with your contact information.Example:
Name
Address
Phone numbers
Website address.
Other options are to include it at the end of the objective sentence (if you have one) or below the title of the resume.

How do I build a resume if I've never had a real job before? We Answered:
SET IT UP LIKE THIS:Put your name, email, phone number and address in the top right hand corner of your resume
MAKE SURE YOUR RESUME IS ONLY ONE PAGE, INCLUDE CONTACTS LAST OR ON A SEPERATE PAGE
Include a cover page, including the contact info in the upper right.
There say:
My name is (INSERT NAME) I am a student at (WHERE YOU GO TO SCHOOL) and I am applying for (INSERT JOB YOU WANT HERE). Include an overview of your credientials and wants.
First, put down your work references. Because you have some put it down, starting with the most recent.
INCLUDE EVERYTHING,
put it like this:
WORK EXPERIENCE:
Babysitter (start date) to (present)
Dog sitter (start date) to (present)
Appliance store associate (start date) to (present)
then add a skills section, because you have experience with dogs put that first.
Example:
SKILLS:
Animal friendly, a natural people person, communication skills, trustworthy, (include any typing or formal skills.)
include a background info section.
BACKGROUND:
I have a sincere love for animals and would love to work for (INCLUDE COMPANIES NAME HERE)
basically, just tell them your goals in life, what qualifies you, and what kind of person you are. Include your name, salary desired (always put negotionable!), any accomplishments, education, and what you want to do in your future.
EDUCATION:
Put down any schools you've attended, including addresses and phone numbers. Include a grade average for extra brownie points.
Contacts:
Put down some numbers of friends, or their parents.

How much should someone get paid for part time finance/bookkeeping?We Answered:
If you don't have an accounting degree or a CPA license, you're probably looking at about $12-$18/ hour. The ad seems pretty vague, so probably on the lower end. If you have an accounting degree, you should definitely be paid at least $40/ hr, and if you're a CPA, $65 - $120/ hr.From the sound of the ad, it looks like they're seeking someone who can just help out but not really solve/ handle any tough accounting issues... so probably $12-$18/ hr.

How does my resume for college look?We Answered:
Hi ,Many people who want to learn how to play the guitar often rush themselves, jumping into guitar tablature before they have a firm grip on the basics of the guitar. The key to becoming a good guitarist in the long run, is to become a master of the basic, fundamental elements of the instrument before trying to move on to more complex and harder guitar techniques.
Before you can learn to play the guitar you should first learn how the instrument works and how to properly take care of it.
Were you inspired by Jimmy Page, Eddie Van Halen, or other rock great guitarists.
I was and when I was looking to see how quickly I could get to play I found a guitar review site really helpful in choosing the right guide for me.
Make sure you get to the link in the resource box below to find out how you can be a master with the guitar as well.
