Resume How To Make

Don Said:

does this job objective for my resume make sense?

We Answered:

It's a good objective, but it's too vague for any individual job to take seriously.
Tailor your objective to the type of job you're applying for (not by name of course, but more specifically fitting the job description of the individual position).

Best of luck! :)

How to make my resume sound more professional?

We Answered:

"Thorough working knowledge of the equipment, materials and methods used in cleaning and custodial work. "

Sidney Said:

How much of a difference would going in person and handing in your resume make?

We Answered:

It might actually annoy them. Most places require you to apply online because it's easier and takes less manpower. If you insist on going there and trying to find someone to give your resume to it might be interpreted as pretentious and like you can't follow the rules.

Edna Said:

How can I make my lame resume more appealing?

We Answered:

Focus less on where you've worked and job titles, and emphasize your talents, skills and abilities. Consider using a "functional" resume format listing various skill categories, and specific examples underneath them. List employers and specific positions later in the resume. Make sure to include a statement that says "references available upon request", and before you do, make sure that you have prepared your references on what information you would like them to highlight in the event they get a call.
