Professional Resume Writers

Ben Said:

Is it really necessary to become certified as a professional resume writer, when you already have experience?

We Answered:

You do not need to be certified. Certification is just merely something that lets people know you have had some professional training and passed a test to become "certified".

The only reason you would need a LLC is to protect yourself from liability. I don't imagine you have too much liability in that line of work so I would probably not see the need...at the moment.

Curtis Said:

Are professional resume writers worth the cost?

We Answered:

I am one so of course! You must find a reputable solid person who will take care of your every need. Resume writers usually have tons of experience and know the best way to help you land a great job with your current skills. Their advice is critical to making you stand out amongst other candidates.

The typical charge is anywhere from $100-$500. Check out my website and if you want me to help, just let me know. Or find someone in your local community.

Good luck!

Joyce Said:

Have you or would you ever make use of a professional resume writer?

We Answered:

I used a professional CV writer when I left military service in 1995. I was highly impressed with the result and even more so when I landed the first civilian job I applied for. That was proof enough that I had spent my money wisely. I also learned how to present my CV myself for future use. And now I help others to write their CV's but I don't charge a fee. Perhaps it's worth thinking about though.

Help me chose a professional Resume writer?

Have a go at doing it yourself, it's a lot cheaper and who knows you better than you?

Kenneth Said:

I’m not good in writing. Where can I get help in writing my resume? Are there Professional Resume Writers?

We Answered:

Yes, there are Professional Resume Writers. Most professional resume-writers are good at editing resumes. You can either do your resume and have them edit it or have them write it for you after consultation or filling out a questionnaire. This way, you can avoid grammatical errors that may reflect poorly on you. I tried out Jaime Cooper Consulting 3 months ago. They did an impressive job on my resume and I got seven calls for interviews a week after.
