Walter Said:

My brother owns his own business. I work for him and there are people who are huge trouble makers and use his?

We Answered:

You need to tell your brother in no uncertain terms everything you just printed here. And also especially that you will find another job if he doesn't get rid of these losers. Blood is thicker than water, or should be. I don't care how long he has been "friends" with these idiots, he needs to be made to understand what a total chump they are playing him for and how miserable they make everyone's lives. With friends like that, who needs enemies ? And if he won't listen, then get another job and get away from that mess. You can't force him to act, just don't gloat when he tells you that you were right some day.

C++ or C# for game development? Any game programmers out there who can help me with career decision, PLEASE?

We Answered:

I think that C++ and Python are used alot for making games and also engeneering. The consoles, I think are made using a really advanced programming language because they have their own software recognition and stuff, so strong programms like C++ and Python are used.
I know for sure that C++ is used for hard core games mostly, but for some more simpler once, too. From my experience I say that the VB Language can be recomended for more casual puzzle games. Java however, is used for smaller projects...along with Flash. To have a good payment, I think that you should learn C++, html, Python or Java if you like to.
I am in primary scholl and I am an expert in VB and I highly recomend it to a begginer programmer. You can also practice a bit using game builders like GM beffore that. I am currently using C++ and I must say that it is really really hard = not for begginers!

I hope this helps!
Good luck,
George

How to improve on my job resume?

We Answered:

This is so vague. A lawyer would hate to look at this. I'm a paralegal. Lawyers are fact driven people. Be specific. Things like "goal-oriented" and "self-directed" mean nothing unless you can back them up. Say things like: I'm goal-oriented. Such as the time I met and surpassed my goal of collecting 100lbs of food for the local food bank. I'm self-directed, I learned french on my own because I felt it was necessary to learn a second language. As for being proficient in all word programs..which ones. Word Perfect is useless in a law office. Microsoft Word is good. Things like Abacus and Sanction are good also. File Maker isn't bad. Be specific about which Pro you know. (i.e. the year) same with word. When you say all word programs what does that mean? Excel, Powerpoint..be specific. It all sounds good but you need to be more specific.
