Making A Cover Letter
Rhonda Said:
Suggestions for making my cover letter and resume stand out??We Answered:
Since you are sending them to a government agency, I should tell you that you MUST use 20-30 pound WHITE paper and Times New Roman or Arial font in 10-12 size ONLY. Keep both 'clean and neat' and use PERFECT resume style, and have a 'perfect cover letter' that is short and to the point. Believe me, THAT will 'stand out' best, much better than any 'fancy paper' or any other 'trick' ... it works this way for ANy resume/cover letter, but is even MORE important when you are applying for a GOVERNMENT position.Jorge Said:
Pleeeeeeeeeeeease ! What good things can you say about "The Keg" that can be used for making a cover letter? We Answered:
you enjoy the food and the people... ps tht may be your opinion. Not mine. i wont go back.. good luckBob Said:
Who can help me make a cover letter? We Answered:
Sure!State first the position you're applying for and the reason for your application. State then the experience you have that qualifies you for the position. Be sure to satisfy the role criteria here. State finally your enthusiasm for the position and include your contact details. Be sure to use positive language and be concise. The letter ought be only six or seven lines!
Good luck!

should I write a cover letter for jamba juice stating smoothie making experience? We Answered:
Usually you would just post this in any blank portion of the Jamba application. It is relevant experience but not usually worthy of a cover-letter. Since you say there is no room on the app, go ahead and submit a cover letter.Harry Said:
What exactly goes into making a cover letter when submitting a resume? We Answered:
http://search.yahoo.com/search;_ylt=A0oG…'First Paragraph
The first paragraph of your letter should include information on why you are writing. Mention the position you are applying for and where you found the job listing. Include the name of a mutual contact, if you have one.
Middle Paragraph(s)
The next section of your cover letter should describe what you have to offer the employer. Mention specifically how your qualifications match the job you are applying for. Remember, you are interpreting your resume, not repeating it.
Final Paragraph
Conclude your cover letter by thanking the employer for considering you for the position. Include information on how you will follow-up.
