Objectives are still used - make sure that you don't narrow down your ideal position too much, as some HR folks tend to rule you out based on that.

I would suggest using a chronological resume with your most recent position first. Underneath your daily responsibilities list achievements this will show not only what you have done, but great things you have accomplished.

If you are worried about using an objective - try using a summary - tell a little about yourself in nutshell, and insert your objective in that way.

If you use Yahoo Search "resume template" you will find lots of resources. ResumeTemplates dot org is one that has sample templates by job type that you might like. Also if you have MS Word on your computer, it actually does have templates in it for resumes. Also you can find them at Microsoft Office Online which has more graphically appealing resume templates posted.

I agree with the previous poster. I am a recruiter and I can definitely tell which resumes came from the template. However, if you're looking for a low-level job, then it doesn't matter. I believe you just hit "TAB" from the last job field and it should add a new field.
