How to write an objective for a resume for a person looking for a manager position?

There might be a lot of variables in writing objective for your resume, depending on your work experience and specialty.

Here are some suggestions that might work:

Objective : further my management experience in the __________________ setting and to be an asset to the company.

Objective:To join a successful organization that provides a positive environment that allows room for growth with opportunity to learn, to use my business skills achieved through work experience and education.

However, it would be a better idea for you to review websites like

Billie Said:

what's the objective on a resume for and how do you write one?

We Answered:

Even though an objective is traditionally used on resumes, it really does very little to make an employer want to hire you.

A good alternative is a "Summary" - a brief statement that summarizes (surprise surprise!) you as a potential employee. You should subtly try to work the benefit that you offer into this statement.

Most importantly, the Summary acts as the "headline" of your resume. I'm not talking about it's physical placement on the resume, but rather, what it should be accomplishing. Its goal should be to draw the reader into the resume - getting him to read the whole thing.

Darlene Said:

How to write an objective in a resume?

We Answered:

an objective should tell an employer what you can bring to them and what you expect from them. A general objective I used for the customers we helped place into work was something like:

Seeking an opportunity to become a part of a strong and stable company that will appreciate and demand hard work, flexibility and excellent customer service abilities.

This objective tells the company that what you expect from them - strength and stability - in other words you don't want to get laid off tomorrow and get hired today. It also tells them what you can bring to them, Hard work, flexibility and excellent customer service. it's pretty general since you don't identify a particular job posting, or a particular company.

Best of luck to you!

how to write objective in a resume applying for hospital management position?

We Answered:

I don't think you're anywhere near ready to be a hospital manager if you need help with that question. You might try applying for a housekeeping position first and see how that goes..
