For the space in between jobs, do you have excuses, like you have to look after a sick parent/grandparent, you attended a course, you went for a holiday, you were not well and need treatment or just a break, etc.

Check out the links below for wording and formatting ideas. Basically, you'll put your contact info on top followed by either a statement of what position you're seeking and why you're qualified for the position or a summary of your strengths and skills relevant to the job. List your work experience - newest to oldest, stating what you did at each job. Start each sentence with an "action" word to sound more powerful. List your education. If you're a member of any relevant clubs, list them. Good luck...I know that writing a resume isn't fun.
