How To Write A Cv

Julia Said:

how to write a cv with no work experience?

We Answered:

Throw anything in that is at all distantly relevant, double space and center the whole on the sheet of paper.
Example: anything you did in HS as a good citizen. Your grades and effort in College. The name of your college and the year graduated and the degree earned. Your ability to do the work as demonstrated by anything: math, organization, yes that coffee shop job and do not tell them it was only for one day on the CV. Any volunteer work ever.Any parties that you might have run if not too embarrassing. Any social organizations you have ever joined or better yet, run. Go back to High School on that one.

Make sure that your references (not going on the CV) are informed that someone maybe calling, and ask their permission to use them. Remind that coffee shop that you actually worked for them. Cover your self this way. Ditto on any other org. Get contact info for people who knew and can verify that you did what you said you did. Keep this on a separate piece of paper, use this to fill in the employment application.

How to write you CV when you have have lots of temp jobs?

We Answered:

I would suggest one of two options here.

Firstly, when sending out a CV, it is always best to send a covering letter with it, you could explain these circumstances in this letter, and try to put a positive slant on it. Perhaps saying how being able to move from temp job to temp job quite often shows that you are able to adapt to do the job that is needed.

Alternatively to this, you could just list the agencies that contracted your partner for all of these temp positions, and detail responsibilities, rather than all of the individual companies.

How can I write a CV in English?

We Answered:

CVs don't necessarily have to include your entire employment history, but they shouldn't leave any gaps. So, let's say you decide to go back 5 years ... ideally there wouldn't be any "holes" (time not attending school full-time or working full-time) larger than a month or two.

You can easily find books about English style CVs. I would suggest checking out www.amazon.co.uk, specifically this book:
