So if you have gained any valuable experience or accomplishments from an internship, proficient in foreign languages, computer skills, etc., it would be great to highlight those accomplishments in this section.

I think its fine.
On that same note, I worked my way though college in the collections feild. Have fun....lol.
Collections is sales. You have to be able to SELL the person to give up the money he owes. Its a very tough job. There are a lot of laws that you have to know and follow. ( you as a collection agent can actually be prosecuted if you screw up).
Sometimes its really hard to bite your tongue and not do the wrong thing when you are dealing with a complete loser on the phone who wont give up the money he is stealing from you. I say it that way because that is the way you have to think of it. That loser on the phone, has your paycheck and he better give it up. Good luck.

It looks good like you have it. The only thing I would suggest is to explain more. What kinds of functions? Weddings, birthdays? or business meetings? and tell more about the money part. how did you handle it? cashier? pay bills? do pay roll? And what did you serve customers? as in a waiter? did you help with their issues, like in customer service?
Do you see where I am going. The catch is don't add too much they don't want to read alot. I hope this helps.

If you are bringing it in person, put your resume and covering letter inside an unsealed, 9X12 white envelope for hand delivery.
