Use 1" margins
Use bold print and capital letters for important items
Do NOT type age, martial status, height, weight, references, addresses, or phone numbers
Use bulleting, underlining, italics, bolding, with 10 or 11 point font in Arial, Helvetica, Tacoma, or Verdana.

Re-writing resume, need some advice?

We Answered:

Keep your existing resume for graphic design but develop a new resume for receptioniist/office job. You want to list information which shows why you would make a great receptionist/office worker. But don't get rid of the graphic design resume, because you never know when a job will open up in that field.

What they are interested in are your organizational and multi-tasking skills. How about your telephone technique and computer graphic skills. Have you had any work previously in those fields.

A good resource is www.monster.com there should be a section on there for resume advice.

Good luck to you!

I need advice on resume writing & CPRW?

We Answered:

I've visited their website at www.cprw.com that they provide training programs. maybe, you can check this out to find out if this is the type of training you're looking you. resume writing can actually be very flexible. what employers look for would be your past experience, educational background and the skills and competencies you have acquired in the past to determine whether you can handle their jobs or not.
