Experience Resume Sample

Karen Said:

Sample Resume, NO EXPERIENCE!!!!?

We Answered:

Definintely prepare a resume if just for the experience and having one always impresses places of employment - even if it's just your first job. See http://www.monster.com for advice, but basically you want this type of format:

Name
Address
Phone Number
EMail Contact Number

Objective: List a job objective (e.g., Seeking entry level position in hotel management)

Education: XXX High School, Graduated June 2008
XXX Community College, Part-time
Major: Hotel Management

Volunteer Experience: List everything and anything you've
done that might be relevant or show how responsible and reliable you are

References: Available upon request (or list them)

Good luck!

Tracy Said:

sample resume, im 16 no experience and im stil in highschool?

We Answered:

Since you are still in high school I take it you want a resume tailored to either start work/apply to a graduate school. If you have decided to start working, list your options and zero in on a few. Then you can get started with resume/CV writing. Design your resume to suit the job you are applying for. Do not send out the same resume for different jobs. For example if you are applying to a newspaper or magazine for the post of a writer, mention your role in your school newsletter/magazine. Since you are a fresh graduate no other experience will be expected. A summer internship will be a plus point.

If on the other hand you want to study further, do a little research on the field of study you have decided on, check which universities are best for the program of your interest. Look at factors like distance, location and cost as well. Once you have done this start writing your resume/CV highlighting the reasons for your interest in this program in your cover letter. Cover letters are extremely important for admissions as are letters of recommendation. Get a good recommendation from a faculty member in your school and from someone in your field of interest if you can.

Hope this helped. Best of luck!!

Ronald Said:

If I am applying for financial jobs, what section should I put the stock investing experience in resume?

We Answered:

You don't put it on there as experience. Just put it under interests. Anyone can open an account and trade so it's nothing special.

Discuss It!
