microsoft works has a started copy of them telling you what is to be put on the resume. just make sure you delete what they have on it as you fill in your info. seen some turned in and people never deleted the examples. lol.lists of things on resume:
objective: what you are looking for in the job your seeking
qualifications: skills pertaining to job seeking
education: high school, college, or any certificates you may have
employment history: if you have any
references: list at least 3 references preferably not relatives

Ethel Said:
What do I put in "Objective" section in a resume for a University? We Answered:
Are you applying to be a student, or applying for a job?Resumes are tailored, by you, to your specific need. An "objective" is often used when applying for a job, and if you're using a template on your computer, it's probably on there because so many people use it.
If you're applying to be a student:
I don't think you need an "objective". I think they just want to see your experience. If you really want an "objective," then put the degree you want to get, or your educational goals.
If you're applying for a job:
"Entry level positions" are job positions and would be appropriate if you were applying for employment, but not appropriate if you're applying to be a student. If you're looking for a job, your sentence is OK, but a bit wordy. Do you want computer technology, or the AREA of computer technology? Also, "obtain" isn't quite right to me, but I can't think of something to replace it with. I'd just leave it out and stay concise-
Objective: an entry level position in computer technology.
