how should i write my cover letter? We Answered:
These are examples of cover letters--try this. Why not take one of them and use one to get some ideas for your own? As for formatting, the formatting of one of these can be closely followed to create yours.Frank Said:
Template for my cover letter...?We Answered:
Being a student and starting out is hard. If you want to make the best impression, don't mail it, but find out the person's name that will be reading the letter and the business's address. Complete address. Street address, City, State, and Zip code. Be sure to include any suite, floor, or building designations. The whole point of any cover letter or resume is to sell yourself. Sell all of your best points. Make them have the feeling that your a great catch and it would be a mistake not to hire you. Don't lie or exaggerate anything. Just tell it like it is, but highlight the good stuff, and tell things in a good way.
Think of it this way. If you were looking for someone, what would you look for in an employee.
I don't know you: your personality, the way you dress, the way you talk, walk, or carry yourself, or how well you did in school. Tell them that you're on time, every time (if you really are, if not, then don't tell them that you are). Tell them you have good grades, if you do have them. Tell them any accomplishments you earned or achieved, if you did. If you haven't gotten any yet, you know that you need to work harder.

Does a cover letter change with each potential employer ?We Answered:
best to have a lil program or template for your resumeEVERY resume you send should be designed to illustrate your experience for that particular job
you should also "investigate" the company a little so you know what exactly they do.
that way the company knows you have taken the time know what the company is about instead of just random statements like "works hard, responsible, blah, blah"
trust me about 5 years ago i was bouncing around for awhile.. i had it down pact getting jobs.. its a bit different now with the economy but the rules still apply.

trying to find microsoft word template for resumes and cover letter? We Answered:
When you are in Word go to 'file', click "new" and there should be a list of template options there. Go to templates "on My Computer" and a new window will open with various options for templates. At the top of this window click the tab that says "Other Documents " and here you will find a template called "Comtemporary Resume". Hope that helps...
