Cover Letter For Cv

Enrique Said:

When applying for a job, is it enough to email your CV+ cover letter or is it better to send them by post, too?

We Answered:

I would just send it by email. Most company's prefer this now a days. When you send the email you have option to get a receipt it is under options.

Best Wishes with the job hunt.

Applying for a job, handing in a cover letter + CV how do they assess it?

We Answered:

They're looking to see if you have any experience or skills related to customer service. So if you have any volunteer experience or have done any extracurricular activities or school projects that show you have teamwork skills or people skills, then I would mention that.

For interviews, they will ask you to tell them about yourself, what your weakenesses/strengths are, why they should hire you, etc. Prepare ahead of time by practicing your answers to some of these questions. And another thing is to dress nicely for the interview. So either dress pants or a skirt would be fine. Good luck! I'm sure you'll do fine. :)

Help with compiling a CV and Cover letter Please?

I think it goes without saying that now, more then ever, is the hardest time to be able to get into employment wether you have been out of employment for five minutes or five years.

Employers are currently finding themselves to be in a very good position when seeking employees as so many high standard, qualified people are now out of work because of redundencies in the work place. So where employers may not of been too fusy before, they can now afford to look that extra bit harder and get someone for the job that is appropriate and most likely over qualified for the position.

I think your best bet in applying for a job is to just emphasise your good points, your skills and your past experience.

Just remember that getting a job isn't as easy as it maybe once was a few years ago, so don't be too disheartened if you get a few rejections. Just keep at it, keep trying and it will pay off. If it does become too hard, then perhaps take up a slightly lower ranked job then you would prefer just so that you are 1) in work and 2) gaining more experience to then be able to show on your CV.

It's tough for us all with the recession, but keep it at. I wish you the very best of luck!
