I would suggest sending a certified letter to her so you have proof that she received it and it is documented and tell her that she has ten days or you will press charges. Something similar like this happened to me with an ex boyfreind, he got scared and ended up meeting myself and an officer to deliver the money back to me. The law is on your side as cheesy as that sounded. I also just relized it happened to me even more recently I did a hair service for a woman that was probably under the influence of something, anyway when it became time to pay she only had a credit card with her, I expained to her that i am not set up for credit cerds I accept cash or check only, she promised to come right back with cash, and didn't. She left me a message on my machine saying that her boyfriend wouldn't give her any money and that she didn't have any way to pay.I left her a message on her machine saying I will accept responsibility for what happened, because I failed to inform her on the phone about no cc machine. I was very polite in also saying I would not be able to provide services to her ever again, and I wished her well. I didn't hear from her for months then out of the blue I received a card in mailbox with ten dollars. She stated she would pay the rest of the $65.oo balance as she could. I guess lesson learned hear is, I ,like you had to learn the hard way I took the high road and in the end I think the guilt ate her up..I always remember to tell people now when they call. Oh yeah I was also able to write it off as a loss on taxes. Good Luck

The first thing I would advise is that you limit your resume to no more than two pages and get a second opinion about your resume even if you believe that it is "perfect". Also, you should include keywords that match the type of job that you are applying for because many companies and recruiters use automated computer systems to screen out applicants which means that your resume may never actually be read by a human. Do not use a generic resume, it should always be customized for the job that you are applying for. Don't forget to include a cover letter that explains your strengths and why you would be the best candidate for the job. Make sure that your resume and cover letter both contain good grammar and no spelling errors.

Secondly, I would advise that you practice interviewing and when you think you have it right, practice some more. You can practice in the mirror, with family members, or at mock job interviews. Ask yourself some questions and place yourself in the role of the interviewer and think about how they might think about your answers.

For example: What are your strengths/weaknesses? Why are you leaving your current job? Why should I hire you?

Granted, the questions above, are very simple examples but they can reveal a lot to you before you are in an actual interview. The most important thing to remember when you are in an actual job interview, is to be relaxed. In other words... "Don't let em see you sweat."

The last thing to remember is that no matter how well you are prepared, is that luck is a factor when trying to get a new job. Sometimes it just wasn't meant to be, but that doesn't mean you quit looking.
